How to Setup HP Officejet 8610 Printer on PC

Setting up HP Officejet 8610 Printer on Windows PC

Your HP printer provides USB for connecting with computers. It is a high-speed USB cable for easy and fast printing. When you need the printer on a single device then go for cable connection. Configuring a printer to a computer using a cable is simple. But the user must inspect the cable for the kinks and cuts. If the cable is damaged then get a new USB cable and then connect it.   1. Go to HP Officejet 8610 printer and turn it ON
  2. Open the PC and go to its Settings tab
  3. Choose the Devices button and tap on Printers & Scanners
  4. Users will get a new wizard
  5. Tap on Add Printer option

The PC will search for the available printers. When your HP Officejet is connected, you will see the printer name on the screen. Select the name and then follow the screen. After the printer connection, you have to install the driver to complete the configuration.

The user can add his HP device to the home network and share it with family members. Before connecting the HP Printer to the network, you need to set a strong password for the network and make sure you know the SSID on your network. 

  1. Open printer and set it to the Wireless settings
  2. The printer will start blinking and locating all the available networks
  3. Open printer screen and check for the network list
  4. Select the SSID of your HP Deskjet 
  5. Password wizard will appear

After connecting the HP printer to the network, go to the PC. Connect the computer to the same network. Go to its devices page and select Add a printer button. When you get the available devices, select HP Deskjet and hit on the OK button. Now your HP printer shows Online status and you can take the printouts easily. Connecting the HP Officejet 8610 Printer to an Android 

HP printers can be accessed from your Android device. HP printer also allows Wi-Fi direct method for connecting with phone devices. For Android, you have to install Google Cloud Print. The user has to set the printer for Google Cloud Print. Open Chrome and go to settings.

Click on the Advanced settings and you have to tap on Google Cloud Print. Once you get the tool, tap on Manage Cloud Print Devices and then you will get a new window. Select Add Printers and now tap on your HP Deskjet printer. Now open the document on the phone and hit the Print option. When the HP printer is connected, it will start printing the document.
